Can we talk about Eminem….

So Eminem, one of my favourite artists comes out and slams Trump for being racist. He even comfortably says ‘fuck you’ to all his fans who don’t take his side of the argument.

I guess Eminem doesn’t want me as a fan anymore, and while I will still love his music, what’s really dawning on me, is how comfortable the entire left is to tear the US apart just because the narrative is changing. Not just antifa, even celebs.

We’ve headed in one way for the last 30 years, and thank god we are headed in the other now. And the left isn’t ready to give up. They are honestly ready to tear down civilisation if they don’t get their own way.

Now as a former libcuck, I’m obviously not as right wing as some on this dom, but we are on the right side of history here.

This complete lack of meeting in the middle, this complete lack of civility, this complete disdain for anything that isn’t marching full speed into a distopian collapse is….. well yes completely predictable for a former drug addict – but still….. disappointing.

I like art, I like rap, I like freedom, I like culture, I like people can find their own version of an ideal life. I’m stoked at where we are right now in human history so I strongly err on the side of conservativeness, but I’m not all about it. But I am all about respect.

I won’t stop listening to Eminem as I actually don’t care what a middle aged man who still thinks it’s cool to rap says. The fact he even tries to use his fame to orchestrate the minds of his fans is actually embarrassing funny. Em, shut the fuck up, and grow the fuck up. And I’ll listen to your music whenever I want, you can suck my dick.

But to my actual point, considering our world view was adopted from an approach that made the western world the greatest civilisation in history, it will never cease to surprise and disappoint me, how willing so many people are to throw that away.

I’m too old to give a man with outstanding oracular skills any more respect than that particular skill set deserves, but it’s a shame he is utterly, completely, and detrimentally incorrect.

So fuck you slim shady. You can rap, but goddman you’re dumb. If you want to join us – where any color or creed who is willing to work together to make this world a better place – than we’d be happy to have you.

If not, kinda shut up. It ain’t the nineties no more.
