Hello, I have an assignment for my course The Science of Science Fiction and Gaming. This is simply a breadth requirement, which means I know nothing of physics.
I have to play this game, http://ift.tt/2yuNfq7, and use the laser to cut the upper parts of the tall vertical blocks. I must write a one page report explaining why the pieces I create move as they do. I'm being marked on how well I explain scientific principles and the accuracy of my statements. It should be understandable by nonscientists.
I'm not quite sure where to start. We've been learning about acceleration, velocity, Newton's Laws, etc. in class. Should I be describing the gravity that makes the piece fall, the friction that causes it to slide? PLEASE HELP.
