Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Moving from Mac and looking forward to the games I've missed out on. Software other than gaming will be Sibelius, ProTools, most Adobe creative programs, having fun with Rainmeter. I have an external soundcard already.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
I was waiting until Bannerlord release to build but I might be dead by then, so looking to run HotS on high settings (those ragdolls) 1080p at 60fps. Would also like to run Elite Dangerous on medium settings.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
~£1000 - already have all peripherals other than monitor.
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
UK - Northern Ireland
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.
-
Are there any obvious flaws/missing components? I see that PPP observes no compatibility issues.
-
I see that the motherboard comes with an DVD, what is this for?
-
Is the most common method of installing Windows 10 downloading to a pen drive from another system?
-
Does the CPU/Cooler(?) come with thermal paste and if so should I invest in better stuff?
Any observations would be very welcome, apologies for any ignorance/nonsense above.
Thanks.
