I've had my '03 Sable since I first started driving, 10 years ago. I like the peppiness of the car. I want something with better gas mileage, sunroof, rear-view camera, and the tech safety features such as the lane departure, blind spot monitoring, etc. Warranty is also important to me, and something that is reliable and relatively inexpensive to fix parts-wise is preferable. I'm looking to stay as relatively inexpensive as possible - I'll be financing, have good credit, and a small lump for a downpayment that will cover taxes & fees + a little more.
FWIW, I live in the Northeast.
I've tried: Elantra - okay, but not my favorite.
Mazda 3 and 6 - there was something about it that just didn't sit right with me, as much as I wanted to love it Civic - I don't like the all electronic screen for the controls in the new models Altima - I liked it a lot, but what I drove was a '16 CPO and I hate to lose out on two years of the warranty Impreza - I liked it okay, but need to try a model with the bells and whistles I'm looking for to really tell.
What am I overlooking?
