My experice with gaming, and as a gamer, and my opinion about gaming bussines.

Lately, i see more and more and more people to say they just pirate the game. They wont buy the product, because of endless pre-orders bonuses, microtransactions in SP game, Denuvo, and i see so many issues.

I mean, i am not supporting Piracy, my Steam liblary have over 5k games, so i support any game i like, and i see i would play alot of it. And support the devs. HOWEVER i can't help myself and i see reasson where the issues comming from.

I started as an ATARI games. You know tetris games, those little tank arenas where you could destroy some suroudings (Was neat at the time!) Mario-like clones as such, then i switched to PS1 and get my hands on Crash Bandicot, Spyro and such. What of an advantage we had was in shape of Demo CD's. Also once we bought the game it was FULL experice, no aditional content, no microtransactions, no false advertising. There we're exceptions yes. But the games we're still fun.

In modern age. We have false advertising. Steam does not care for cheap cash'n'grabs getting onto platform. That early acess system is abused. False advertising on some game pages until this very day (Godus, any WarZ clone, Nether) and so on and on, they just buried it into oblivion hoping nobody will ever notice. And we can move to other platforms like Ubisoft which made microtransactions in SP games (Assassin's Creed) a thing! Or EA where they try to improve i give the that. But making Star Wars Battlefront II P2W experice. Or anti-piracy protections which benifit pirate and not a paying costumer. Games without it (Shadow Warrior 2 and Witcher 3 are great examples (Shadow Warrior 2 even GIVING OUT FREE DLC'S!!!)) and it is not needed.

Pirating, and doing so. Is not okay! But this isn't a thing, which happend out of thin air! I see more and more people openly admiting piracy. Being proud of doing so. And worst thing is. That i don't blame them. As i see what's happening with gaming indrustry, and how greedy those publishers are. I am not suprised at all. Also Demo, Trial, Guarance of quality are already forgoten words.

And let's not start about gambling issue.

TL;DR:More and more people pirate these days. And i don't blame them, even though i dislike piracy.
