Possibility of bottlenecking?

Just a quick warning right off the bat, I’m new to reddit so sorry if I sound like a noob.

With that said, I built my first pc a little over a year ago and everything has been fine. However now that I’ve had it for a while, I’m starting to look at how I can improve my setup. Right now I am stock everything with a 6600k i5, an evga sc 1080, 16 gb’s of vengeance ram, and an asus z170 s sabertooth mb. As of right now I have everything air cooled but looking into picking up water cooling for cpu and gpu.

I mainly play games like pubg and I don’t think I’m getting the performance I should be. (I am playing on 2k resolution and low graphics settings for competitiveness) I am getting about 80 FPS ish on average and was wondering if this might be due to cpu bottlenecking. As a side note, should I pick up water cooling for cpu or gpu? My temps while gaming get around 77 degrees celsius for gpu and high 50’s for cpu.

Let me know if I wasn’t clear on something. And tbh, I’m not sure if this is even the right place to post this but will gladly go elsewhere if that’s the case.
